SJRES 60
Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Summary

This joint resolution would overturn an Environmental Protection Agency rule about emissions budgets and allowance allocations for Indiana under the Cross-State Air Pollution Rule Update. The EPA rule was published in May 2025 and relates to how pollution allowances would be allocated under interstate air quality standards. If this resolution passes, the EPA rule would have no legal effect and would not be implemented. This type of resolution uses the Congressional Review Act process to allow Congress to disapprove specific regulations issued by federal agencies.
