SJRES 112 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

S. J. RES. 112 Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Bureau of Industry and Security of the Department of Commerce relating to ``One Year Suspension of Expansion of End-User Controls for Affiliates of Certain Listed Entities''.
Summary
This joint resolution disapproves a rule issued by the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security in November 2025 that provided a one-year suspension of the expansion of end-user controls for affiliates of certain listed entities. If passed, the disapproval would prevent the rule from taking effect and having any legal force or effect. The resolution uses the Congressional Review Act process, which allows Congress to overturn regulatory actions through a joint resolution.
