HRES 873 Passed House Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

H. RES. 873 Providing for consideration of the Senate amendment to the bill (H.R. 5371) making continuing appropriations and extensions for fiscal year 2026, and for other purposes.
Summary
This resolution establishes procedures for the House of Representatives to consider and vote on a Senate amendment to H.R. 5371, a bill providing continuing appropriations and extensions for fiscal year 2026. The resolution allows the Committee on Appropriations chair to offer a motion for the House to concur with the Senate's changes to the bill. Debate on the motion is limited to one hour, divided equally between the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Appropriations. The resolution allows the House to vote on the motion without other procedural delays. This is a procedural measure to facilitate consideration of the appropriations legislation, not substantive policy changes.
