HRES 1068 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Summary
This is a House procedural resolution that sets the rules for debating and voting on another bill, H.J. Res. 143. The resolution allows the House to immediately begin considering H.J. Res. 143 and waives procedural objections to its consideration. It provides one hour of debate equally divided between the majority and minority, allows for amendments to be automatically adopted if submitted by the ranking minority member of the Committee on Rules, and permits one motion to recommit. The resolution requires the House Clerk to send the passed resolution to the Senate within three calendar days and exempts the consideration from certain standard House rules.
