HRES 801 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Providing for the consideration of the joint resolution (H. J. Res. 12) proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to limit the number of terms that a Member of Congress may serve.
Summary
This resolution establishes the procedure for the House to consider a joint resolution (H. J. Res. 12) that proposes a constitutional amendment to limit the number of terms Members of Congress may serve. The resolution allows the House to proceed immediately to consideration of the joint resolution without standard procedural delays. The resolution provides for one hour of debate on the proposal, equally divided between the chair and ranking minority member of the Judiciary Committee. The resolution waives certain House rules that would normally apply to this consideration. The resolution is a procedural measure that does not itself propose the amendment, but rather governs how the House will debate and vote on the amendment proposal.
