HRES 436
Passed House Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Summary

This resolution is a procedural measure that allows the House of Representatives to consider H.R. 1, a budget reconciliation bill, for debate and vote. The resolution adopts a modified version of the bill as the text to be considered and waives certain procedural objections that could delay consideration. It establishes that debate will be limited to two hours, divided among the chairs and ranking members of the Budget and Ways and Means Committees, and allows one motion to recommit.
