PROTECT Jewish Student and Faculty Act
To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to require institutions of higher education, as a condition of participation in programs under title IV of such Act, to include a prohibition of antisemitic conduct in all documents relating to student or employee conduct.
Summary
This bill amends the Higher Education Act to require colleges and universities receiving federal Title IV funds to include provisions prohibiting antisemitism in their student and employee conduct documents. The institutions must provide a definition of antisemitism and state that antisemitic conduct is prohibited, with potential consequences of expulsion for students or termination for employees. This applies to all institutions of higher education that participate in federal student aid programs.
