Protecting Life on College Campus Act of 2025
To prohibit the award of Federal funds to an institution of higher education that hosts or is affiliated with a student-based service site that provides abortion drugs or abortions to students of the institution or to employees of the institution or site, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill would prohibit federal funding to colleges and universities that operate or are affiliated with on-campus health clinics that provide abortion drugs or abortion services to students or employees. Colleges with student health clinics would be required to submit annual certifications to the Education and Health and Human Services Departments stating that these clinics do not provide abortions or abortion medications. The bill defines "abortion drugs" to include any drug intended to end a pregnancy, with exceptions for treating ectopic pregnancies or removing deceased fetuses.
