Summary

This bill amends the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act to extend the deadline for TikTok to divest its U.S. operations. The deadline is extended from 270 days to 540 days, effectively doubling the timeframe in which TikTok must be sold to avoid being banned from operating in the United States. The longer timeline provides additional time for a potential buyer to complete the acquisition process.
