S 1127 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
Dennis and Lois Krisfalusy Act
To amend title 38, United States Code, to expand eligibility for memorial headstones and markers furnished by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to certain individuals who died before November 11, 1998.
Summary
The Dennis and Lois Krisfalusy Act amends federal law to expand eligibility for memorial headstones and markers furnished by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The bill removes a date restriction that previously limited eligibility to individuals who died on or after November 11, 1998, thereby extending eligibility to certain individuals who died before that date. This expansion allows more individuals who may not have previously qualified to receive memorial headstones and markers from the VA.
