Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Summary

This bill expands eligibility for Department of Veterans Affairs headstones or grave markers. It includes members and former members of the Armed Forces Reserves who do not qualify as veterans solely due to not meeting minimum active-duty service requirements. The bill allows these individuals to receive VA-provided headstones or grave markers despite not meeting the standard veteran status definition.
