HRES 177
Passed House Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Summary

This resolution establishes the procedures for House consideration of three joint resolutions that seek congressional disapproval of federal agency rules under the Congressional Review Act. The three resolutions target a Department of Energy rule on appliance standards and certification requirements, an Environmental Protection Agency rule on emissions standards for rubber tire manufacturing, and a Bureau of Ocean Energy Management rule on marine archaeological resource protection. For each resolution, the rule allows one hour of debate equally divided between majority and minority, waives procedural points of order, and allows one motion to recommit.
