IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Mr. Pappas (for himself, Ms. Norton, Ms. Goodlander, Mr. Golden of Maine, and Ms. McBride) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure

A BILL

To amend title 23, United States Code, with respect to the amounts States are guaranteed under the highway apportionment formula, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. GUARANTEED AMOUNTS.

Section 104(c)(1)(B) of title 23, United States Code, is amended—

(1) in clause (ii) by striking “and” at the end;

(2) in clause (iii) by striking the period and inserting “; and”; and

(3) by adding at the end the following:

“(iv) at least 0.5 percent of the total apportionment.”. <all>
