Veterans Career Connection Act
To amend title 38, United States Code, to establish a program under which the Secretary of Veterans Affairs provides information regarding the professional experiences of certain veterans and members of the Armed Forces to prospective employers.
Summary
This bill would establish the Veterans Transition Talent Hub, a program operated by the Department of Veterans Affairs that matches veterans and separating service members with employers. Veterans and service members eligible for preseparation counseling would voluntarily provide information about their military and civilian skills, certifications, geographic preferences, and resumes. Prospective employers would be able to search this data to find candidates with the skills and experience they seek.
