Summary

This bill appropriates funds to ensure that civilian and military public shipyard workers continue to receive pay and allowances during a federal government shutdown in fiscal years 2026 and 2027. The funds would be available whenever interim or full-year appropriations are not in effect due to a shutdown. The appropriations would end once a regular or continuing appropriation is enacted, or on January 1, 2027, whichever comes first.
