Summary

This bill directs the Secretary of State to implement travel restrictions on officials from Iran, officials associated with foreign terrorist organizations, and officials from United Nations organizations that the United States does not belong to when they attend UN meetings at the New York headquarters. Iranian and terror-affiliated officials would be restricted to direct routes between airports and the UN building, plus routes to their accommodations or representative offices, with visas valid only one day before or after UN General Assembly meetings. Officials from non-member UN organizations would be restricted to a 25-mile radius around UN Headquarters and prohibited from visiting colleges and universities in that area. The restrictions would not apply to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.
