HR 3219 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
To amend title 10, United States Code, to expand eligibility of veterans for a certain military adaptive sports program.
Summary
This bill would expand veteran eligibility for military adaptive sports programs. Currently, veterans can only participate in certain military adaptive sports programs during the one-year period following their separation from service. This bill would remove the one-year time limitation, allowing veterans to participate in the program at any time after separation. The change makes the adaptive sports program more accessible to a broader range of veterans.
