Summary

The bill temporarily expands income eligibility for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for households that include a recently separated veteran. For a 100-day period beginning when a veteran receives their discharge paperwork, the household's SNAP eligibility will be determined using only the veteran's income, not the income of other household members.
