HR 2560 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
Lifespan Respite Care Reauthorization Act of 2025
To amend the Public Health Service Act to reauthorize lifespan respite care programs, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill would reauthorize the Lifespan Respite Care program under the Public Health Service Act through fiscal years 2025 to 2029. The bill also broadens the definition of "family caregiver" in the program from "unpaid adult" to "unpaid individual," which would expand eligibility to include younger caregivers who provide unpaid care for family members.
