Summary

This bill would reauthorize the Lifespan Respite Care program under the Public Health Service Act through fiscal years 2025 to 2029. The bill also broadens the definition of "family caregiver" in the program from "unpaid adult" to "unpaid individual," which would expand eligibility to include younger caregivers who provide unpaid care for family members.
