To exempt stinger-steered combinations from a requirement to include warning flags on projecting loads.
Summary
This bill exempts stinger-steered combinations (a type of truck configuration used to transport assembled vehicles) from the federal requirement to display warning flags on projecting loads. The exemption takes effect immediately upon passage. The Secretary of Transportation is required to formally revise the transportation regulations to make this exemption permanent, and may do so without going through the standard public comment period that usually applies to regulatory changes.
