Summary

This bill amends federal law to ensure that federal employees are fully informed of their whistleblower rights. Specifically, it modifies the federal code section governing whistleblower protections to address nondisclosure policies, forms, or agreements that federal employees may be required to sign. The bill aims to prevent such agreements from being used as gag clauses that would discourage employees from reporting violations or misconduct. By clarifying whistleblower protections in relation to nondisclosure agreements, the bill seeks to protect federal employees' ability to report lawbreaking.
