S 3791 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
Regional Ocean Partnerships Reauthorization Act of 2026
To reauthorize Regional Ocean Partnerships, and for other purposes.
Summary
The bill reauthorizes the Regional Ocean Partnerships program, which was originally established by the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act. The reauthorization extends the program through fiscal year 2031, replacing the previous funding authorization that expired after fiscal year 2027. The bill authorizes annual funding ranging from approximately $11.6 million to $11.9 million for fiscal years 2028 through 2031. The bill also amends reporting requirements to require a report not later than five years after this reauthorization act is enacted. Regional Ocean Partnerships were created to support regional collaboration on ocean-related issues and priorities.
