PSLF Payment Completion Fairness Act
To ensure that borrowers who have performed qualifying public service are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Summary
The bill amends the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program to modify eligibility requirements. It removes a requirement that borrowers currently be employed in qualifying public service, replacing it with a requirement that they have performed such service. This change would allow borrowers who are no longer employed in public service to be eligible for loan forgiveness if they previously met the service requirements.
