A BILL
To designate the area of H Street Northwest between Connecticut Avenue Northwest and Vermont Avenue Northwest in Washington, District of Columbia, as “Charlie Kirk Patriot Way”.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. DESIGNATION OF CHARLIE KIRK PATRIOT WAY.
(a) In General.—The area of H Street Northwest between Connecticut Avenue Northwest and Vermont Avenue Northwest in Washington, District of Columbia, shall be known and designated as “Charlie Kirk Patriot Way”.
(b) References.—Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the area referred to in subsection (a) shall be deemed to be a reference to “Charlie Kirk Patriot Way”.
(c) Signs.—The District of Columbia shall construct 4 street signs—
(1) that contain the phrase “Charlie Kirk Patriot Way”;
(2) one of which shall be placed immediately above the existing H Street Northwest sign at the intersection of H Street Northwest and Connecticut Avenue Northwest;
(3) two of which shall be placed immediately above the two existing H Street Northwest signs at the intersection of H Street Northwest (Block 1500 and Block 1600) and 16th Street Northwest;
(4) one of which shall be placed immediately above the existing H Street Northwest sign at the intersection of H Street Northwest and Vermont Avenue Northwest; and
(5) that are similar in design and size to standard street signs used by the District of Columbia. <all>
