To amend the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 to clarify propane storage as an eligible use for funds provided under the storage facility loan program, and for other purposes.
Summary
The bill amends the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 to clarify that agricultural producers can use storage facility loan program funds to construct or upgrade propane storage facilities. The propane must be primarily used for agricultural production. This expands the eligible uses of the loan program to explicitly include propane storage for agricultural purposes.
