To amend the Boulder Canyon Project Act to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to expend amounts in the Colorado River Dam fund, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill would amend the Boulder Canyon Project Act to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to spend money from the Colorado River Dam fund on activities at Hoover Dam. The funds that could be expended include moneys recovered on a non-reimbursable basis. The authorized uses of these funds include operations, maintenance, investigation and cleanup actions, and capital improvements at Hoover Dam and on land used for its construction and operation. The Secretary would make these decisions in consultation with the Boulder Canyon Project contractors identified in the Hoover Power Allocation Act of 2011.
