Summary

This bill modifies how the Department of Defense calculates minimum capital investment requirements for military maintenance and supply depots. Instead of basing the calculation on spending from the preceding three fiscal years, the bill changes it to use the preceding fiscal year, current fiscal year, and the estimated amount for the following fiscal year, creating a forward-looking approach to depot investment planning.
