A BILL
To rescind Presidential memoranda on the withdrawal of certain areas of the outer Continental Shelf from oil or natural gas leasing.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the “Overturn Biden’s Offshore Energy Ban Act”.
SEC. 2. RESCISSION OF PRESIDENTIAL MEMORANDA ON THE WITHDRAWAL OF CERTAIN AREAS OF THE OUTER CONTINENTAL SHELF.
The following Presidential memoranda shall have no force or effect:
(1) The Presidential memorandum entitled “Memorandum on the Withdrawal of Certain Areas of the United States Outer Continental Shelf from Oil or Natural Gas Leasing”, and dated January 6, 2025, relating to the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic, and Pacific areas of the outer Continental Shelf.
(2) The Presidential memorandum entitled “Memorandum on the Withdrawal of Certain Areas of the United States Outer Continental Shelf from Oil or Natural Gas Leasing”, and dated January 6, 2025, relating to the Bering Sea areas of the outer Continental Shelf. <all>
