HRES 590 Passed House Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

H. RES. 590 Relating to consideration of the Senate amendment to the bill (H.R. 4) to rescind certain budget authority proposed to be rescinded in special messages transmitted to the Congress by the President on June 3, 2025, in accordance with section 1012(a) of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974.
Summary
This House resolution is a procedural measure that allows the House to accept the Senate's version of H.R. 4, the Rescissions Act, which proposes to rescind certain previously appropriated budget authority based on special messages from the President transmitted to Congress on June 3, 2025. The resolution provides that upon its adoption, the House shall be considered to have taken H.R. 4 from the Speaker's table and to have concurred in the Senate amendment, effectively passing the Senate version of the bill without further House debate or amendment. The rescission process follows the procedures established under section 1012(a) of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974, which allows the President to propose cancellations of previously appropriated funds. This procedural resolution expedites the final passage of the rescissions bill by allowing the House to accept the Senate's version directly.
