A BILL
To amend the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 to set maximum monthly allowances for juice under the special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the “Juice for Healthy Families Act of 2026”.
SEC. 2. MAXIMUM MONTHLY ALLOWANCES OF JUICE UNDER WIC.
Section 17 of the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 (42 U.S.C. 1786) is amended by adding at the end the following:
“(t) Maximum Monthly Allowances of Juice.—The maximum monthly allowances of single strength juice for the following food packages described in section 246.10(e) of title 7, Code of Federal Regulations are:
“(1) For Food Package IV, 128 fluid ounces.
“(2) For Food Package V, 128 fluid ounces.
“(3) For Food Package VI, 128 fluid ounces.
“(4) For Food Package VII, 128 fluid ounces.”. <all>
