It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
Non-Domiciled CDL Reporting Act
To direct the Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to establish and maintain a database for commercial driver's license data, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill establishes a database system for commercial driver's licenses issued to non-domiciled individuals, coordinating between state driver license agencies and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. States would be required to submit information about non-domiciled commercial driver's licenses, including expiration dates and copies of the licenses themselves, to the FMCSA. The FMCSA would process this information through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements service to check immigration status, and any holders found to have unlawful immigration status would be referred to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for investigation and potential removal proceedings. The FMCSA would report annually to Congress on how many non-domiciled commercial driver's licenses were flagged through this system.
