Summary

The bill amends the Medicare program to eliminate cost-sharing responsibilities for chronic care management services. Starting January 1, 2027, Medicare will pay 100 percent of chronic care management services, with the amount paid equal to the lesser of the actual charge or the amount determined by Medicare's payment rules. The Medicare deductible will not apply to these services. Chronic care management services are care coordination services for beneficiaries with multiple chronic conditions. Previously, beneficiaries had to pay coinsurance and deductibles for these services.
