Agent Orange Service Medal Act
To establish the Agent Orange Veterans Service Medal.
Summary
This bill establishes the Agent Orange Veterans Service Medal, a commemorative military service medal to honor veterans exposed to Agent Orange during and after the Vietnam War. The medal would be issued to veterans who receive disability compensation for Agent Orange-related conditions or who are classified as Vietnam-era herbicide-exposed veterans. Upon request and certification by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, the Secretary of Defense would issue the medal to eligible veterans. For deceased veterans, the medal may be issued to their next-of-kin.
