American Passport Card Accessibility Act
To prohibit the Secretary of State from charging a fee for the issuance or reissuance of a passport card.
Summary
This bill would prohibit the Secretary of State from charging fees for issuing or reissuing passport cards. The prohibition would not apply to fees for expedited processing of passport card applications. Currently, the Secretary of State is authorized to charge fees for passport cards under the Passport Act of 1920. This bill would eliminate those standard issuance and reissuance fees.
