To provide for interim appropriations for the National Capital Planning Commission and the Commission of Fine Arts with respect to any fiscal year for which appropriations are not otherwise provided for the commissions.
Summary
This bill provides emergency federal funding for the National Capital Planning Commission and the Commission of Fine Arts if Congress fails to appropriate funds for them during a fiscal year. The emergency funding would be at the same spending rate and under the same conditions as the previous fiscal year. If Congress later enacts appropriations for these commissions or enacts a general appropriation bill for the Department of Interior and related agencies, any emergency spending would be charged to those appropriations. The emergency appropriations would end once actual appropriations are enacted. The bill applies to fiscal year 2025 and subsequent years.
