HR 4562 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
Sustainable Aviation Fuel Information Act
To make publicly available information on sustainable aviation fuel production and imports, and for other purposes.
Summary
This Act requires the Energy Information Administration to include data on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in its regular petroleum reports, including the Petroleum Supply Monthly and Weekly Petroleum Status Report. The data must track the type, origin, and volume of feedstock used to produce SAF by state, region, country, and for the United States overall, as well as total SAF production by location and imports from foreign countries. The reporting must use reliable statistical sampling techniques and prevent double counting of feedstock or fuel. The sustainable aviation fuel definition is taken from the Internal Revenue Code.
