Mr. Neguse introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs
A BILL
To amend title 38, United States Code, to increase the authorization of appropriations for homeless veterans reintegration programs.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the “Veteran Jobs Training Act”.
SEC. 2. INCREASE OF AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR HOMELESS VETERANS REINTEGRATION PROGRAMS.
Section 2021(i)(1) of title 38, United States Code, is amended—
(1) in subparagraph (G), by striking “fiscal year 2024 and each fiscal year thereafter” and inserting “each of fiscal years 2024 and 2025”; and
(2) by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:
“(H) $75,000,000 for fiscal year 2024 and each fiscal year thereafter.”. <all>
