To amend the Federal Reserve Act to require the Secretary of the Treasury to print $250 Federal reserve notes featuring a portrait of Donald J. Trump, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill directs the Secretary of the Treasury to print $250 Federal Reserve notes featuring a portrait of Donald J. Trump within one year of enactment. The bill expresses the sense of Congress that these notes be created to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. The bill also amends federal law to allow living presidents' portraits to appear on U.S. currency and securities, removing a previous restriction that prohibited this practice.
