Summary
Requires the statewide maternal mortality review committee (committee) to: (1) promote greater diversity and community engagement in maternal mortality review; (2) conduct a comprehensive review of maternal health data collection process and quality measures to consider certain maternal mortality concerns; and (3) conduct a comprehensive study on maternal mortality and severe maternal morbidity among Native American pregnant and postpartum individuals. Appropriates $1,000,000 to the committee to carry out the comprehensive studies.
