Enrolled HCR302: Authorizing the Senate and the House of Representatives to recess for a period of more than three days. 00 Enrolled HCR302 01 Authorizing the Senate and the House of Representatives to recess for a period of more than 02 three days. 03 _______________ 04 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 WHEREAS art. II, sec. 10, Constitution of the State of Alaska, provides that neither 06 house of the legislature may adjourn or recess for longer than three days unless the other 07 house concurs; and 08 WHEREAS Rule 52, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, provides that 09 adoption of a concurrent resolution by a majority vote of the full membership of each house 10 constitutes concurrence; 11 BE IT RESOLVED by the Alaska State Legislature that the Senate and the House of 12 Representatives may each recess for a period of more than three days during the Third Special 13 Session of the Thirty-Fourth Alaska State Legislature.
