Senate Resolution No. 1969

COMMENDING Epiphany Lodge No. 121 of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York upon the occasion of hosting its Mother's Day of Service on May 16, 2026
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to those organizations of high purpose and worthy accomplishment whose endeavors have faithfully served the welfare of the citizens of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Epiphany Lodge No. 121 of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York upon the occasion of hosting its Mother's Day of Service on Saturday, May 16, 2026; and
WHEREAS, The dedicated Masons of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York are men with a social conscience and a charitable perspective, bound together by common moral ideals and esoteric values grounded in the timeless principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth; and
WHEREAS, Epiphany Lodge No. 121 has long exemplified these principles through its commitment to fraternal excellence, civic engagement, and service to the communities of New York; and
WHEREAS, Under the leadership of Worshipful Master Robert Lewis, Epiphany Lodge No. 121 continues to uphold the highest traditions of Prince Hall Masonry, fostering a spirit of brotherhood, mentorship, and community investment that reflects the finest ideals of the fraternity; and
WHEREAS, The Mother's Day of Service reflects the lodge's deep commitment to honoring and uplifting the mothers, grandmothers, and matriarchs of its community, recognizing their foundational and irreplaceable role in the lives of families and communities across New York; and
WHEREAS, Through acts of service, fellowship, and community engagement, this event embodies the living mission of Prince Hall Masonry: to make good men better, and to build communities that are stronger, more compassionate, and more just; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is proudly moved to honor and commend the members of Epiphany Lodge No. 121, past and present, whose involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the organization and the community it serves; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to commend Epiphany Lodge No. 121 of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand
Lodge of New York upon the occasion of hosting its Mother's Day of Service on May 16, 2026; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be transmitted to Worshipful Master Robert Lewis and the members of Epiphany Lodge No. 121 of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of New York, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York.
