SB 1134 - Under this act, each health care facility shall prominently display a printed sign, in all capital letters, warning that assaulting a health care professional is a serious crime which may be punishable as a class A misdemeanor. This act is identical to SB 791 (2025) and substantially similar to provisions in the truly agreed to and finally passed SS/SCS/HCS/HB 2372 (2026), SS/SCS/SB 841 (2026), HCS/HB 1213 (2025), HCS/SB 1019 (2026), SB 1775 (2026), and HCS/SB 943 (2025).
