STEC -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Health -- recommitted to the Committee on Health in accordance with Senate Rule 6, sec. 8 -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee

AN ACT to authorize an expedited application review process for certain health care professionals licensed to practice in other jurisdictions to practice in this state in connection with Double H Ranch; and providing for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows:

1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any inconsistent provision of law, any 2 person who is licensed or certified to practice as a physician in anoth- 3 er state or territory, who is in good standing in such state or territo- 4 ry, and who has a written agreement to provide medical services with 5 Double H Ranch in the town of Lake Luzerne between June 9, 2026 and 6 August 16, 2026, shall receive expedited licensure review upon the 7 filing of an application pursuant to article 131 of the education law. 8 All application fees shall be waived for such individuals. 9 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be 10 deemed repealed 1 year after such date.
