Summary
Provides that an annexation is void (except for an annexation of land located within an economic development project site) if a remonstrance petition is signed by: (1) at least 51% (instead of 65%) of the landowners in the annexation area; or (2) the owners of 60% (instead of 80%) in assessed value of land in the annexation area.
