Summary

Propose to amend Section 170 of the Constitution of Kentucky to include in the homestead exemption for owners who are 65 years of age or older any increase in ad valorem taxes that are assessed after the latter of the year the owner turned 65, the year the owner purchased the property, or the date the amendment was ratified by the voters; add the continued biennial inflation indexing of the homestead exemption amount; make nonsubstantive technical corrections; provide ballot language; submit to voters for ratification or rejection.
