SB 1068 - This act modifies the offense of possession of unlawful items in a prison or jail to include when a person knowingly delivers, attempts to deliver, possesses, deposits, or conceals in or about the premises of any correctional center or of any city, county, or private jail any unauthorized portable electronic communication device. Such a violation of the offense of possession of unlawful items in a prison or jail shall be a class D felony. This act is substantially similar to HB 2414 (2026). TRISTAN BENSON, JR.
