Summary

This bill amends New York's alcoholic beverage control law to allow the issuance of a retail on-premises liquor license for a specific property in Catskill in Greene County, despite a state law that generally prohibits such licenses within 200 feet of schools, churches, synagogues, or places of worship. The bill creates an exception solely for the identified food and beverage retail premises in the Village of Catskill. The change takes effect immediately.
