MACKENZIE AND BERNSTINE, JULY 27, 2026 REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON TOURISM, RECREATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, JULY 27, 2026 A RESOLUTION Commending the United States Senators representing this Commonwealth, businesses, trade associations, labor organizations, agricultural leaders and community partners for ensuring Commonwealth representation at the American State Fair; and urging the Office of the Governor to participate in future similar national celebrations. WHEREAS, The residents of this Commonwealth deserve to have this Commonwealth's agriculture, manufacturing, energy, tourism, innovation and cultural heritage showcased on the national stage whenever the opportunity arises; and WHEREAS, Participation in the American State Fair provides an opportunity to attract investment, promote tourism, celebrate this Commonwealth's agriculture and highlight the industries and workers that make this Commonwealth exceptional; and WHEREAS, Pennsylvanians expect their elected officials to seize opportunities to promote this Commonwealth rather than allow partisan disagreements or political grievances to stand in the way; and WHEREAS, When the Office of the Governor failed to ensure 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19
