AN ACT to amend the general business law, in relation to the sale of motor vehicle tires
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. The general business law is amended by adding a new section 2 391-x to read as follows: 3 § 391-x. Sale of motor vehicle tires. Any person, firm, association or 4 corporation which sells motor vehicle tires to consumers in this state 5 shall include on any receipt for such sale the date of manufacture of 6 every tire sold. Where more than one tire is sold in a single trans- 7 action, the manufacture date of each tire shall be listed separately. 8 § 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall 9 have become a law.
