Summary
House Bill 4208 amends Michigan's insurance law to clarify that health insurance policies do not include policies that provide only federal excepted benefits, such as dental, vision, life insurance, or disability coverage. The bill defines a health insurance policy as one providing coverage for hospital, medical, or surgical expenses. The measure takes effect only if House Bill 4207 is also enacted into law.
